ISUZU RUS will present a number of the company’s novelties at COMTRANS 2021. One of those is a new medium-duty chassis ISUZU ELF 8.0 which weight capacity has been increased by 500 kg compared to the previous generation. The new lineup will be available in three modifications including standard, all-wheel drive, and CNG version. The ISUZU ELF 8.0 production has been launched in spring 2021 at the company’s Russian plant in Ulyanovsk.

“ISUZU’s key competitive advantage – a wide lineup helping our clients to meet any or their business needs. We are in day-to-day contact with our corporate and individual customers to get their feedback and understand where the room for improvement is from our side. Our clients’ needs in combination with new regulatory drivers led to the launch of new ISUZU ELF 8.0 with higher weight capacity” – says Maksim Popov, Head of Product Marketing at ISUZU RUS.

The driveline of the new ELF 8.0 is identical to the ELF 9.5 (NQR90): the frame, the front axle, and the rear axle with 3,1 t and 5,9-6,4 t capacity correspondingly. The 155-hp engine ISUZU 4HK1 with 6-speed manual transmission ISUZU MYY6S gives a good power and torque combination to move heavier payloads. The ELF 8.0 (NPR75) and ELF 8.0 CNG (NPR82) now have additional wide-angle external rear-view mirrors. The new chassis will be presented on September 7-11th at the 16th Commercial Vehicle exhibition COMTRANS 2021 at the ISUZU RUS stand #14-260 in the Hall 14 of the Pavilion 3 of the venue.

The medium-duty series ELF (N-series) is the company’s hallmark and the platform for ISUZU’s leading worldwide position in commercial vehicles. The N-series sets the record in the lifecycle in the commercial vehicle market – it is produced for more than 60 years. The medium-duty ELF is perfect for moving through the modern urban environment with frequent stops and loading-unloading in tight quarters.
