The Ministry of Industry and Tradeи торговли has announced official support for the trade show COMTRANS 2021, proving the strategic importance and visibility of this largest and most attended commercial vehicle exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Denis Manturov first time appeared at the show in 2019, visiting stands of Russian and international OEMs, giving priority and special attention to those who participate in the Ministry’s investment Programme. During the visit, the Minister has stated the substantial positive changes in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles in Russia – most major OEMs have renewed and expanded their product lineups. He also added that successfully implemented government incentives led to the steady development of the commercial vehicle industry and to the domination of locally produced models on the Russian internal market, while the international manufacturers ensure the onward development of technological competencies by implementing local production in the Russian Federation.

“We will continue to provide all conditions to ensure both Russian and international OEMs feel comfortably in Russia”, - emphasized Denis Manturov.

The Minister said the National Project for supporting export from Russia gives more opportunities for further development and growth. All measures have been already taken to underpin promotion of locally produced vehicles to the external markets.

For COMTRANS, the official support from the Ministry proves the highest level of organization and importance of this must-participate event for the Russian commercial vehicle market, and the growing opportunities for exhibiting OEMs - both Russian and international.
